    Neil Trama – Biographical Information 2010

  • Currently you can find Neil Trama establishing a new program in cooperation with the Los Angeles Unified School District for his unique vision of a music instrument library for underserved youth –the non-profit ourconservatory, in addition to placing a variety of musical acts songs in Film, Television & Advertising scores in his role as Music Supervisor for BluntForceTrama.
  • Neil Trama began his music career working as a Club DJ and on college radio in Rochester, NY. After relocating to San Francisco in the early 1990’s – Neil Trama worked as a Promotions Director and Talent Buyer, giving artists such as: Train, Stroke 9 and BRMC their first shows in the city.  These opportunities lead to his first major A&R scouting job, working directly for legendary Geffen Records A&R Director, Roberta Peterson.
  • From there Neil Trama then moved up to his first A&R Representative position reporting to Label President Jay Faires at Mammoth Records in Los Angeles.  Neil Trama was then offered an A&R Representative post with Madonna’s new Label, Maverick Records reporting directly to Russ Rieger, Senior VP A&R at the label
  • As a Music Supervisor, Neil Trama has worked with Bravo/NBC, Discovery International, National Resource Defense Council, League Of Conservation Voters, Deloitte, Compound Advertising & Design, as well as major motion picture and independent filmmakers.

  • Music Supervisor panelist, talent judge and mentor session panelist for Independent Artist Week, San Francisco, California
